Open Pain Training

Open – an online Pain Education Course 

For the first time, the OPEN course offers all healthcare professionals the opportunity to develop shared core knowledge and skills to support people living with pain – helping them manage their condition without relying solely on medication. The program includes four awards, each focused on a different aspect of pain management.

Funding for OPEN was awarded as a grant by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. The Pain Management - Health Professional Education and Training grant was awarded for building health workforce capacity and capability in pain management and as a response to supporting implementation of the National Strategic Action Plan for Pain Management. 

Complete all four awards to receive an OPEN certificate of completion in the OPEN Clinical Pain Management Training program – a one-time cost of $280.
